Car Runs Like a BAG! *Vid* 2.5 map troubles or something motor?
http://media.putfile.com/hosting25baridle
Heres a vid of my car idling right now as it stands. Its a freshly built d16a6, vitara pistons on eagles and a built head (milled.040). Im running turboedit and to run high boost I swapped in a 2.5bar map sensor from xenocron. Im running a 3" open downpipe thats why the exhaust soudns rather loud Now I have no idea where to start when it comes to tuning, just trying to figure this out but I cant get the car to idle, cant figure out how to make a basemap with a 2.5map sensor so I grabbed a splitime bin from xeno's site and this is what its running in the vid, maybe because its for a z6 and im running an a6? I need to know how to get this thing running right, I dont think there is a single vac line I havent checked for leaks, map sensor is wired right, I just dunno whats up Hopeing for some advise |

What version of turboedit are you using? Did you make any changes to spiltimes map?
I'm running a similar setup. a6, vitaras, .075 off the deck, somewhere around .010 off the head, 2.5 motorolla map, 550cc lucas style squirts, stock cam.... I used splitimes ng60 560cc 2.5bar bin. The car ran really lean and like ass in high vaccume/cruise conditions. I realized I was using te2.52 then switched to te2.61. The car runs much smoother now. I haven't had access to a wb after switching from 2.52 yet, but it's worth a shot. If you're running an older verision of te you can get 2.6 here: https://www.homemadeturbo.com/forum/...?topic=10157.0 You could also check your cam timing. I'd assume with .040 off the head that would put you about a half tooth off. On my setup with about .085 missing between the head and block the timing marks lined right up after jumping one tooth. |
