Car dies at idle after boost run??

Hey guys im gonna post this in the FI and the Hybrid forum for help....Every time i drive my car out of boost...it drives fine, idles run, runs great you know...well if i take it into boost and then when i get to a stop light the car dies. i have to restart the car and this is really getting on my nerves so please help. someone said it might be my iacv but im not sure...

i have no vaccum leaks at all and the car has good compression, and im at 9psi so whats up?

Re:Car dies at idle after boost run??

unfortunatly an FMU....its 12:1 vortech...i know its too big but i got it for free...i need to get my obd-1 conversion done...u think its still shoving fuel in after a drive in boost? see the thing is...the car will want to die for a couple minutes when im at idle....after i drive it for 5 minute, its like it resets and it will idle fine, but as soon as i hit boost again it wants to die at a stop light....if i let it die and turn the car off for like 5 seconds and restart the car the thing will idle perfectly...sometimes i just try to blip the throttle to keep it alive but it takes a few minutes of driving for the thing to idle...

it's probably not having a chance to burn all the fuel if you let off the gas immediately in boost, so it drowns the spark, i would suggest not letting off the gas immediately while in boost, just come off the the throttle some to get out of boost, but still be driving, maybe downshifting would help a little, but there's probably not much you can do to fix it other than get rid of the fmu.

what are you using to keep the MAP sensor from seeing boost?

Re:Car dies at idle after boost run??

ur right...i need to get rid of this big ass fmu...its too big of a ratio for my needs..ok say if i drive it in boost...and then let off in neutral...and let the car just idle while coasting to a stop light...the car will die prolly withing 3 to 10 seconds...then i just hit the throttle and its ok for a second....i know my car isnt a civic, its the bastard B series 3rd gen prelude, it has external coil factory, i wish i could make it shove more juice down to the spark plugs....im gapped at .30 on the plugs...this might do it also?

ahh.....im a dumb ass...i have nothing in between the map and vaccum lines...----...should i go to the pet store and buy some fish tank check valves? and how many should i buy....i have an msd 1 bar map sensor...its made for 14psi but i dont have the plugs to convert it on my car yet....so what should i buy so it doesnt see boost?
