can i use small radiator for turbo setup in an ef??
i'm trying to build up a '91 hb w/ dohc zc & tdo4 turbo. since the newer civics have the "half" radiator, i was thinking to trying to use it to buy more room for the turbo setup. has anyone use the smaller radiator on an ef w/ dohc zc/turbo swap?? and was there any cooling problems?
thanks in advance for any responses!!! |

Use a piece of the smaller hose, cut it off so that it just fits over the inlet. Then put your bigger hose over that... and clamp down.

Re: can i use small radiator for turbo setup in an ef??
all i did was make a bracket that looks like this _____________
I I I I I I ____________I just to drop the half size about 1.5 inchs so it clears the hood, i welded it to my radiator support in the right spot and even used a whole saw bit where the bottom of the radiator sits and drilled holes and used the oem rubber groumets. simple as cake and works if you dont buy traction bars. |
