Can I boost my integra GSR

I have a 94 Gsr with about 165,000 miles on it..It still runs awesome and doesnt leak or burn any oil. I just aquired a turbo from a mitsu/starion or something like that and it think it is set at 8 psi. Would I be able to get all the custom manifolds n stuff and boost my car without blowing the engine? I am very new to turbos and do not know too much..Any info will be much appreciated..Thanks

if your new to turbos, kick around in some forced induction boards, like this one. theres a plethera of information in the turbo projects area. but yes, your car will be fine under boost

....throwing rods, busting hips, whats the diff huh? :o

A good start would be to read 'Maximum Boost' by Corky Bell.

Go for it; it only seems hard.

47.12psi at 1243ft above sea level during only 72-74.3 degree temps, on asphalt, not concrete, with a mon, no sun roof, and leather interior, and blue, yes, you can only pull this off if the car is blue. ::)

Dude, use the search.. It depends on a lot of different factors... Just research.
