cam gear

IS it worth having a cam gear on a turbo motor?

IMO, on a SOHC, NO. On a DOHC, YES.

I don't know if this topic has been covered, but It just struck me the other day.

When you put a cam gear on a motor, and start to adjust it, aren't you by turning the cam, also turning the distributor and therefore changing your timing? does this mean everytime you make an adjustment to the cam you have to reset your timing?
