Callin all boosted automatic guys ...

So I've been debating on toying around with this pissy ass subject honda calls an automatic transmission & as some know i've alwayws toyed around with the idea of turbo'ing the auto ... enough of the long story though what i'm really wondering is types of setups are the auto guys running ? (engines, tranny coolers, what size turbo's, what psi, etc.) if you could also throw in a little bit of information if you've been dyno'ed or ran at a track i'd definitely appreciate it.

I'm not expecting it to be very fast or anything but I've recently stumbled upon a good deal on a turbo setup so and i'm debating on buying and putting the kit on before i go 5 spd. or even just seeing if i enjoy running 5 psi enough to keep the auto for a little longer....

so yeah lemme hear from you auto guys - Thanks Justin

as for the flamers lets attempt to keep this page clean, i know everyone has an opinion but i'm not really loooking for negative ones here ;)

I assume this is a civic?

Personaly did a AT to MT conversion on mine before the install , but i would think you would want something quick spooling with low psi (less pressure on the converter) . Maybe 42/48 t3 . Nothing more than 8psi and at 8psi it still probably gonna take a crap on you eventually if your hard on it all the time.

There is always the option of getting a larger turbo like a .57 trim or .60 trim and leaving the car out of boost for daily driving. Of course as soon as you start hittin boost its gonna be crazy pressure on that tranny.

Just my .02 cents and probably gonna be corrected anywy :-)

Disconnected stock trans cooler from inside the rad. Used a dedicated front mount trans cooler
Plate type....say NO to tube fins
Replace trans fluid often and use a good filter. ....and good fluid too.

See about a higher stall torque converter later on.

Step 1: GEt Level10 to build you a tranny.
Step 2: Boost.

Different forums have different members which have different views and as for my "answer" I never really asked a question, hell i never expected any of these responses i was looking for responses from automatic guys and wanted to here there turbo setups, track times & dyno charts ... just for some resources.

so like the post said if your here to contribute to the thread by all means stay subscribed, etc. if your just on here to flame and get your post count up to enlarge your "e-boner" please exit stage right
