A/C turbo setup?

Ok, Over thanksgiving break, I'm going to be putting a 14b on my 94 hatch. It has A/C, and I'd like to keep it if I can. Just wondering if anyone out there knows how hard it is to keep the A/C with a turbo, or maybe get some tips from someone who has.

How many guys out there have kept their A/C with their turbo?

Well you have just over a week to get the parts, and you don't know what you need?

Your exhaust manifold is the biggest factor in determining if your setup will be a/c compatible.

The manifold would have to be custom made and you don't seem to have the time to wait.

Do a lot of research because some manifolds that claim to be a/c compatable are a pain in the but. however it is very possible to keep your a/c. I had a "rev hard style" cast manifold on my b16 and was able to keep a/c. But the compressor side of my turbo is to close to my slave cylinder to run an intake . So ask questions about stuff like that before you buy some thing.

Re: A/C turbo setup?

I have all the parts needed, I bought a used cheech chong ssac off a guy and he siad that it would be A/c compatibale. I keep just eyeballing it with it sittin on top of my stock manifold, and there isn't any way I see that SOB fitting with A/C. I have an old school arc welder, but I don't think that would be enough to fabricate a decent exhaust manifold that would clear the A/C stuff. Perhaps I will just wait till chirstmas time and see if I can get my hands on a tig welder, so I can make my own manifold. I suppose that would be the best way to take care of my problem.

Thanks for the input guys
