i am truely the master honda ******-uper! The built single cam has less than 2k mi. and it blew the ---- up 2 hrs. ago. I was driving home from work and i started to hear what sounded like rod knock, i looked at the oil pressure gauge- read 0. I put more oil in, thinking i was low, and decided the damage was done and i would drive it the rest of the way to my friends house. It was only a few minutes down the road but when i got there, something in the back of the head blew apart and oil was all over the intake. It looks like an oil galley in the head or something. i could swear it was covered before but i dont know what it could have been. its a weird large opening right in beteween cyl 2+3. So i find out the engine is full of oil. Maybe this is why whatever happened in the head blew up?? I have no ------- clue. Sucks *** though... its my only car. Oil and no oil pressure leads me to believe its either the pump or the pickup tube. But the tube was fine when i put the motor together and i didnt hit anything to dent the pan. I dont ------- know. Look for my ---- in the for sale pages. Im selling everything but the piping, intercooler, and BOV. I suppose i'll be getting a GSR that ive always wanted and see how long THIS engine lasts. My liscense is going to get suspended because of my DUI so i got pleanty of time to work on it.

I had an engine and turbo die to a failed oil pump (or clogged passage). Sorry for your loss that sucks ***.

yea im gonna pull the pan today and see whats going on. THe oil pump is 2 big metal gears, so i cant see the pump causing a sudden loss of oil pressure. It has to be the pickup or a clogged oil passage. The high idle was from a misadjusted throttle cable. After full throttle, it would go back to being closed all the way.

Next in line is a built ls vtec turbo. Probably take a couple of months though.

I traded the big turbo to my buddy for his project. But i have my old .42/.48 if anyone wants it. Fresh off a rebuild (i thought the turbo was causing the smoking in the old engine) I think i might sell it on ebay that way some idiot will give me alot of money for it though. PM me with an offer if your interested though
