Re:Built LS
B18a
sleeved with wiseco pistons eagle rods crank rings cyclinder brace crower springs and retainers race engineering cam gears crower stage 2 cams t3/4 turbo FMIC |
Re:Built LS
sleeved and then a cylinder brace?...and what do you mean by crank, you dont need a new one

Re:Built LS
If this is real, and you had the money to do that much block work, why would you be on home made turbo, you seem like you have enough money, so get yourself a nice size t3, and boost the hell outta that thing and use zydyne gold or aem ems for feul managment. Id say, that block is almsot bullet proof.

Re:Built LS
i did everyhting myself I i like it that way.... i do have a t3/t4 turbo and i plan to boost the crap out of it. it took me quite a while to do this and i dont want to go buy an already made turbo kit for it beacuse i am broke from doing this. besides i dont think they make one for a CRX with a LS motor. I was thinking 10-12psi daily driven then 15-17 track.. i have a 4340 steel forged crank from eagle. sorry

Re:Built LS
Are you running sleeves, or a block gaurd, i didnt kno it was possible to run both?
|
Re:Built LS
i am sorry i have a block guard but it is not installed... it is currently sleeved. I was going to block guard it but i got a real deal on sleeves. also i am thinking about sleeving it to 2.0, would this be wise?

you mean 'boring' it? sure, why not. as far as boost, you can run 20 psi daily if you want with that set up. you can run 10-12 daily with a stock b18, so if that's all you wanted, you wasted a lot of money building that block. let's see some pics ;D |
Re:Built LS
10-12 daily on a b18? i didnt know it was that much. good to know for my stock b18b goin into the rex :)
|
Re:Built LS
i will get pics up soon as my mounts come in and i have time to put it in. I just finished building now i have to buy the stuff to put it in. I just wanted to be able to have about 300 whp on tap when needed. I probably did an overkill but oh well. I will try for 400 crank hp daily driver then. By the way all this is goin in a crx

Re:Built LS
btw if it's already sleeved your probably cant even use a block gaurd, plus there would be no need to.
