Default Building turbo 72 Vega 140ci. new at this and need advice

I have completely restored a 72 Vega GT (4 banger 140ci. OHC)...The deal is that I want to install a turbo kit and my question is concerning the stock exhaust manifold. Since Turbo Vega's are not popular, exhaust manifolds for turbo set-ups are non-existant! Can my stock manifold be used by running (exhaust) pipe from exhaust outlet and weld an inlet flange to that pipe to mount the turbocharger? Otherwise, I will have to have a manifold fabricted, which would cost a lot of $$.
Any advice on this and/or any other details that I might need to know would be greatly appreciated. I plan to use a T04 maybe Garrett or Greddy. engine is a 140ci. 2.3 litre.
Thanks!!
John

+1.Sounds like a interesting project. You could also get a flange cut based off a ex. mani gasket and build your own manifold if you have a welder.
