i broke mine in all mtor. 400whp later she runs mint.

Well, seeing as how it is combustion pressure that forces the rings out against the bore, and causes them to seat...

seems to me that if you are building your motor properly and allowing clearances for a turbo motor i.e. ring gap and piston to wall clearance its would make sense to break it in boosted because, only boost will seat the rings correctly

I break mine in with turbo, it's a waste of time to assemble an engine and put it in the car just to take the system apart afterwards to put a turbo on it.
It only takes a couple of hours to get drivable base maps, and that is if you're starting from scratch.
