Default brass into oil pan

has anyone used brass pieces to make an oil return dump tube to the oil pan.
i know its a bad idea to put brass on the block since it vibrates so much and the brass is
brittle, however im thinking the oil pan might be ok to use brass on.

any feedback.
thanks

It has been done thousands of times. That is one of the reasons we use JB Weld.

Brass is malleable, not brittle.
