my greddy type s whistled like all other type's do, but this morning no whistle. i stopped popped the hood rev'd it, just to make sure it was blowing off. it blows off but no whistle, has anyone else had this problem?

I'm assuming you have a kncokc off type S and the whislteing is it leaking...so if it stopped, that means it isn't leaking

 

if i would have had a knock off i would have said "egay type s". it is a real greddy. it would only whistle while blowing off before. i actually liked it because it sounded like no one elses around where i live.

 

Word...never heard of a real type S with a whistle i guess you mean the sound of it blowing off had a whistle to it..if so I don't know, maybe try adjusting it and see if that makes a difference

 

yea i like how the type-s whistles when it opens up, as for it now whistling anymore did the top screw back out or something like that? Also are you able to build boost by just revving it? i know i cant...

 

it wouldn't build any boost , but you could feel air coming out of it. i took it off the car, took it apart and cleaned and lubed it up good, and now it's back to normal.
