Bov question
I just got myself a bov, it's from a audi, but it doesn't have a place to hook up a vacume line too, it's just a simple spring thing, is it still good, will it be loud? iot's adjustable if that matters, but i don't really wana make up a flange when i could just go steal a different one, should I use it or not...
anyone who replies gets my praise and you also get to watch my trauma inducing civic video, thanks in advance. |
Re:Bov question
I've only had experience working with one audio turbo.. I'm pretty sure that bitch is recirculating (or just not loud). Got a pic of it for us to see?
Why not just pick yourself up a cheap 2g dsm bov? |
Re:Bov question
well thanks quadnie, It was a recirculating type, so yeah it probly wasn't very loud. but i just wana know if you guys think it would be good to use even tho it doesn't have a vacume line hole thing.

Re:Bov question
the jury is still out on the vacuum line thing.. been a while since I've touched one of those things, you sure it isn't hiding? Did you check some resources for that thing having/not having a vac line?
I'm sure someone else around here is using one (or has used one). I mostly stick with DSM.. altho bosch isn't all that bad, but DSM is cheaper/better. I'm just a big bosch junkie |
Re:Bov question
lol, it's not bosch, it's straight up audi/vw, but it looks just like the plastic bosche ones, and I'm sure there is no vacume line hook up port thing.

Re:Bov question
drifting in a civic - holy ---- that was cool. I also like the civic with what looked like a big block engine and the madass drag slicks - laughed my face off!!
Good work!! Great to see more Canadian crazies on here!~! |
