BOV problems...
 

when i started my setup i borrowed a DSM BOV from a friend and it didnt work at all...we just figured the BOV was broken because it was super crushed and what not...

recently i got my new BOV in the mail and installed it. come to find out this one doesnt blow off either and its brand new...so it must be something wrong with the connections because i am getting some crazy compressor surge...

the Vaccume line for the BOV is Teed off the map sensor hose that goes to the throttle body. The wategate and boost guage are Teed of the same line but my wategate works fine...

anyone have anyidea what could be going on? do i need to find a new vaccume source? please help..thanks

i have my BOV t'd off the fuel pressure regulator where it connects to the intake manifold. also, check the inside of your BOV. Mine came with some thick super sticky grease that made the BOV pisto slide sloww as hell and the BOV would fludder=let off a few pshhh real fast. i cleaned out the grease and lubed it with wd40 and then i got 1 big pshhhh. also if you're running low boost your spring tension could be too much. cut off a few spring coils or get a lighter spring from a hardware store. but definately clean the BOV and lube it w/wd40.

im gonna be using a turboxs type h on my setup of 8psi...and i just have 1 washer in there, and that should be about right...rite?

eh.. eric neglected to mention he has a huge ass intercooler leak.. on his videos he was only running 5psi.. and then it blew off and hes only running 2psi still i think.. his PSSHHhh in his videos is comign from the release of air through the intercooler hole.. so im thinking its not being forced to go past the BOv ..

i had to end up T'ing my BOV off of my PCV line because all of the small vacuum lines wouldn't work.
