bov not needed with auto tranny ?
I ran into this dude with a 87 grandnational turbo and i asked him where his bov was cuz i wanted to hear it but he said it doesnt have one because its an automatic. He said it makes constant boost at all the time. After he left i realized that when he is done racing or going fast or what ever, when he starts to slow down it has to release the pressure is that right?
ok dood listen up. if you wanna post like 8 times in 2 days do this.
gather up all your questions and put them in 1 topic so we dont need to weed through every topic.
just for next time. thanks.

The BOV saves your impeller when you shut the throttle at high boost. And I have one on my auto, and it works all the time, even at small throttle openeings.. so I guess it is a good idea!! :P
look, this guy came back the next day after he pissed everyone off as "montell" and changed his name to "jet lag" and hid all of his info, HA! it seems like he has a little better attitude this time around, let's hope so. oh yeah, jet lag/montell, if you didn't want anyone to know that you were the jack *** that pissed everyone off, you prolly shouldn't have replied to a thread that you started as your original user name, just a tip for next time. try to read some ---- and learn, instead of posting 25 stupid threads a day. later.

lol, only if you want to push stress on that poor turbine.
For larger turbos running small boost its not absolutely necessary. But even my GN's turbo is starting to crap out, it sounds like a ------- slide whistle now a days because of the lack of blow off.
