Default Boosting my auto teg

I have 93 integra with the B18A in it. It is auto, and the car has about 100K miles. What I wanted to know is do you think my engine and trans will be able to run strong for a while if I have only moderate boost, say 5psi? Im running an external tranny cooler.

with 100k on your motor, i would do a compression test and leak down test. 5psi seem's fine. What are you using for fuel management? I don't think there are any programs out for obd1 ecu's that are auto. I might be wrong.

100k miles is pretty low.. how long have you had the car? do you know anything about how hard its been drove? and like sunny J said.. do a compression check. if all goes well 6-8psi is an acheivable goal

Thanks guys I have a compression test kit on its way to my house. So if I get good comp # you guys think my engine could run 5psi for lets say 30K miles with out and major explosions going on? You think the auto trans could handle even up to 6-8 psi?
