Re: boosting a 49cc moped
i think hotrex's option is the better ;D

Re: boosting a 49cc moped

Re: boosting a 49cc moped
The Small KKK KP31 turbo from the mercedes SMART is the smallest one i saw!!
AHAH! That thing is so tiny!!! it's good for over 70 hp!!! God damn maybe it's still too large for a moped!! not sure! https://i6.ebayimg.com/03/i/07/2d/57/d0_1.JPG |
Re: boosting a 49cc moped
there is a vid of a turbo vespa on a dyno, its pretty sweet, i think it made 6 lbs, other than that there wopuld be an ass load of work to get it to work, dont forget the turbo need oil pressure, and the carb would need to be "adjusted"
|
Re: boosting a 49cc moped
hey blaast what does one of those turbos cost? Im sure i could find a use for one.
|
Re: boosting a 49cc moped
actually i have seen such SMart kp31 turbos on ebay for under 100$....
i think they could suffice for a bunch of small motorcycles, VTT's (and maybe other dumb engine some HMT'ers could decide to stick a turbo on in an sudden excess of spare times...) |
