looks good! I think those 390's are going to be REALLY small for anything over 4-5 psi. Good luck and happy boosting!

yea, you should upgrade those injectors. you WILL max them out, especially since you have that h23 head, you already would need more fuel for that in the first place.

also, upgrading to a fmic will yield better results too, but im sure you knew that already.

either way, i like it, its nice and simple and not riced out. gj

definatly a fmic next season....budget wouldnt allow it this yr..lol ....i would like to have had 450's but i got the 390's pretty cheap....the stock f22 and h23 injectors are the same size..i just uped the fuel pressure last yr with the head swap.....i hope these 390's dont max out...
thnx for the replies and comments guys....

Nice, i almost have the same exact setup. F22 though... I might have the H23 head swapped on it with a td05.

damn, you're a little behind there buddy, lol.

anyways, are you serious? it lasts all the way to redline? hmm, when do you start to see noticable boost?

I'm thinking about just using a DSM manifold too if I can't find a manifold for a good price. Most of them go for about $300+ Are you still able to retain your a/c with that manifold? How did you do your downpipe? DId you use the stock dp or did you custom make it?

Looks good. I was planning on getting an evo big 16g, but now I'm considering running a 14b for now seeing how yours is boosting till redline. BTW, I have a h23. Do you have traction problems?

Re: Boosted prelude project is finished....pics inside

i hd a small ex leak b4 the turbo so it didnt spool up in 1st gear very well....so its hard to tell when it would spool up...but today was just a test to make sure eveything worked...
so ill know more when i get it back together and my new clutch put in.....same as i kno there will be traction probs for sure....but my stocker clutch kept slipping and couldnt keep up.....
i have made a custom 2.5 inch downpipe....
and i shift at 65-6800 or so and it still pulls.....or at least feels like it.....no big high rpm numbers here...i kinda like my bottom end with no metal shavings in it

Yeah, keep me posted. My setup is almost exactly like yours. Instead I have 450's and a fmic.

looks really nice, i miss my lude, it was fun as hell to drive, i had the 4ws and everything, was weird to get use to having the back end feel like its sliding out on every corner, also do you have rear camber issues, mine did really bad and it was stock ride height, and i have seen other with the same issue.

4g63t_EGMonster 03-06-2006 11:47 PM

Re: Boosted prelude project is finished....pics inside

For the filter use a cone and rotate the intake pipe. it should work. mine fits but i have a 4g63t in my hatch.. a lil different.

Sorry to bring this back but I am very curious on how its running now. I am about to start with my setup and just wanted to know if you could send me the same uberdata bin you are using.

ns lude 07-03-2006 08:56 PM

Re: Boosted prelude project is finished....pics inside

its not tuned but i ran on the dyno...@10psi 184whp / 230ft/lbs.....not bad.....next time its at 13psi...just want to get over 200whp /250ft/lbs.......she makes all torque at 4200....then it slowly dies off towards 6800.....hope a good tune can make it a little better in the top end.....pm me with your addy and ill send ya that bin!
