Boost/Vacume Lines

Ok this may be a really dumb questions but I was wondering where is the best place to get a boost linbe for the BOV and Wastegate from... should I get it off the turbo itself or should i tap into the charge pipes near the throttle body? Does it make a differense??

I need a line for wastegate, bov, boost gauge, avcr boost gauge and pressure solenoid for wastegate a greddy mas sensor as well..

After Reading FAQ's and lookin around this is what I got out of it. Run Wastgate from Compressor Pressure Outlet and Run AVCR Solenoid that controls wastegate from Compressor which goes to solenoid and then top of wastegate.

Im thinking BEST place for the vacume line for the boost gauge for both avcr and the autometer gauge and greddy MAS (to do engine management) should be in the charge pipe before the throttle body and (either before or after the BOV???) I am thinking thing is best because I will have fairly long charge pipes and a decent size intercooler and I would probably want to know what the boost was right before the TB

So I would have 2 different areas for vacume line... does this sound ok?

Also if I run a FPR should it T in at the compressor or before the throttle body??

So after reading all that does it make sense or am I a little backwards??

Re:Boost/Vacume Lines

all vacuum you need can be found at the intake manifold. Just tap the line inbetween there and the brake boost and you should be fine.

Re:Boost/Vacume Lines

this is how I would do it, anything that needs vacume(FPR,boost-guage,fMU,BOV,MAP) T off from the intake manifold.

For the wastegate, if you T off the compressor, you get less boost, cause the wastegate will read say 8 psi at the compressor, but your actually only getting say 6-7 because of preasure drop from the intercooler/piping. so for more boost, or actual boost, you can T off right before the Tb or in the IM I believe.

Re:Boost/Vacume Lines

what if I T the wastegate off the compressor and then T the boost solenoid off the intake manifold to correct the boost with the avcr??

and thanks for the help all
