Boost till redline?

Hey guys I am debating between a T25, 1d04l-13t and a 16g for my d16z6. Thing is is that the T25 might need rebuild( cheap so i dont care) , the 13t is good and ready to go, and the 16g is completely blown and needs a rebuild. Being a broke HMT ------- I want to fo the cheap route and scoop my buddies 13t. Question i have is will this thing feed my motor up into redline or will it die at the higher rrms? If its really bad i'll take the plunge and build the 16g. I'm looking for 200hp maybe less with a hf manny and whatnot, nothing serious. What you guys think, who has experience with these? Thanks!

you could run a gt17 to redline at sub 200hp. i doubt you'll crack more than 14psi anyways at those levels

sounds good yeah i'm looking to push about 10psi on that turbo, just concerned if it'll hold that all the wat up to redline. No sense having a high reving motor if you cant rev it out lol.

Re: Boost till redline?

it should feed no problem, running it on a serious setup would turn it into a heatpump

Re: Boost till redline?

how would the t25 fair? I think its a bit smaller than the 13t. It just seems alot easier to mount up than the t25. Which one would be better , I have access to both so its a coin toss for me

Re: Boost till redline?

that works 13t it shall be. i do have a concern that just popped up tho. I'm going to run a stock map sensor at around 10 psi, will that start throwing codes? i know a few people on here said it varies and safe is around 12, i just want to be sure thanks

Re: Boost till redline?

10psi is near the limit, some wont read past 10+, some do. hope you got the lucky one that does

tdo4h will make KW till readline but the PEAK torque/NM will die out @4 or 5000rpm....

Re: Boost till redline?

the map sensor question depends on what type of management you choose. What do you plan on using
