Default to boost or not too boost...??

i hava 91' hatch, swapped an a6 in it and was wondering if i should go about boosting it... the porblem is that my rings r a lil shot and i burn oil... is it still safe to boost or should i get ring job. my setup will b budget stock block, maybe run a t25

If you've got a spare engine boost it, blow it, swap it.

do a ring job with the engine still in the car, but a block gaurd and metal headgasket in and boost the ---- out of it, then when it blows up, reapeat

the closest i have to a spare engine is a bare a6 block that is already sleeve jacketed, b/c i was planning on building and boostin the ---- outa that, but my funds r no longer capable of doin that

You ask to boost or not to boost on HMT? Boost it of course, where you located around here I can get D blocks all day long, plenty to blow up

I'm PA I'll keep my eye out for an a6 looks of D15, there is even an LS bottom end sitting at the Junk yard right now, and i just picked up a LS long block the other week if you were thinking of going to B series

b sereis may b a lil pricey for me, if that were the case i may jus build the a6 blcok i have, but def lmk about a6
