If you know how to properly do a 5-speed swap on an ek, take pics and do a write-up. Most of this site has either EG's or EF's still, so not a whole lot on EK's here. The more stuff we have on the site about it, the less questions we have to answer down the road. ;D
Best advice I can offer you on turbo'ing your car is take your time. The more you rush through things, the more stuff ends up getting either overlooked, or just plain fucked up. There's a wealth of info here, and even though the search is broken you can still search from an outside search engine. Read as much as you can, learn as much as you can...even though the best learning experience is hands on. And good luck. :) |

And good luck. :) thanx for the advice if anything thats exactly what ive been doing. ive been taking my time collecting parts and just plain reading. but like you said im never gonna get motivated till i actually get down to doing it. hopefully turbo D coming Soon. |

you made the thread go to ---- when you posted it. seriously. asking whether or not you should boost something on a TURBO site means your either a dumbass or your looking to up your post count quickly. and dont act all high and mighty on the site when your the one asking for advice. you posted in another thread regarding information on your turbocharger not even knowing what some parts were. and then you attack a member on here for having a boosted focus? any car on here is welcome as long as its boosted. he obviously knows what hes doing. just cause hes not some honda fanboy stfu. he knows more about turbocharging than you do obviously so either get your information in a timely and gracious manner and stop making stupid threads about "should i boost this or not" on a turbo site. or get the ---- off.

ahh welcome to the HMT forums.. you'll get nothing but crap from 70% of the members.. the other 30% are actualy considerate... sometimes.
I think that a nice 100k mile car would be perfect to turbo, If you do it right, and treat the car with respect, you'll have something you like that will last you for a while. You'll have a lot less little non turbo related problems pop up that will help you focus on the important things (making more reliable hp) Good luck and post pics. |

ask yourself this: Do you want to do the 5speed swap or not? Personally I'd rather start with a car that has a manual tranny. If not just sell the car and get a civic with a 5speed. It'll be that much easier. Then turbo that fucker.
