Boost Gauge Install ?

I just got a boost gauge and it didn'y come with instructions. Where do I connect the wires to? There's a red wire, black wire and an orange wire? I know the red one is for the ignition, black one is ground and orange is for the lights. But where are these wires on my car (93 Civic DX) and how do I get to them?

Thanks in advance.

you can use the wires that go to the ashtray light(for the black and red wire) and then the orange goes to a dash light, Ive never seen a boost gauge with orange wire.

It would REALLY help if you said what brand gauge it was. :y

Agreed. 3 wires? That's weird. Does it have some funky color-changing abilities or something?

you can wire the orange one in to either A. running lights (aux lights) whatever or your headlight wires in the engine bay or B. you can do it to the running lights or headlights in teh fuse box, assuming this is going to be the back light of the gauge.

black one should be ground, red one should be power

It has 3 wires because one hooks up to your dimmer, as well as ground and power for the backlight.

(orange=dimmer)

Maybe it's an antenna wire?

When you hit boost, your antenna will retract, cutting down on wind drag. :1
