Boost gauge ?
What is more accurate mechanical or a electronic boost gauge?

Re: Boost gauge ?
never had any experience with elec, but a quality mechanical is hard to beat, imo. there is nothing to go wrong really. plus they are cheaper....

mechanical gauge is all i use, like dude said very little to go wrong. |
Re: Boost gauge ?
some of the mech gauges I have used are not very accurate compared to the map log.. and some of the electrical ones go hay wire and show a peak you never really hit..
just my experience. |
Re: Boost gauge ?
for the price of an elec, you could have like 6 mechanicals assuming the first 5 do you wrong. choice is simple

Re: Boost gauge ?
i ran a iequus vacuum/pressure test gauge on my ranger until i upped the boost past what the gauge read. it was big, and really HMT style.
