boost dying off with spring style wg?
Well I have a dsm t25 and the wg broke during the shipping process
so I'm using the ol' carb spring method. It works fine except the boost dies off near redline, since it can't adjust like a normal wastegate. Is this what happens to everyone elses? I'm guessing there's no way to fix it really besides get a wastegate?

its not that the springs arent tight enough, just the whole idea of it really...any spring works, but the difference in tension causes the difference in boost...and from my experience, it causes low rpm/high load boost spikes and dies off up top
yeah happening to me too, i used to have a wire and a spring where the wire had enough slack to where once it reached 7 psi it stops it but will allow gas through, but this was a pain in the *** to fine tune but worked not to mention the burns from adjusting it right after.
