Well I have a dsm t25 and the wg broke during the shipping process so I'm using the ol' carb spring method. It works fine except the boost dies off near redline, since it can't adjust like a normal wastegate. Is this what happens to everyone elses? I'm guessing there's no way to fix it really besides get a wastegate?

 

Yea that's what I figured. Guess I'll have to find a wastegate and incorparate it somehow.

 

yea were can I get one of those carb springs locally that will keep me boosted at 10 psi? I fucked up my wg also, just wanna know. thanks

 

can you put two car springs on it? that should take it to about 10psi

 

what kind of springs in particular? will they have it at autozone? or other autoparts supply store?

 

yeah happening to me too, i used to have a wire and a spring where the wire had enough slack to where once it reached 7 psi it stops it but will allow gas through, but this was a pain in the *** to fine tune but worked not to mention the burns from adjusting it right after.

 

carb spring method worked good for me, it spiked a lot tho. i didnt use one for very long, but when i do the turbo over, i will be using one again.
