Boost don't come till around 3.5-4k

Is this normal cause I've been reading that other people started spooling at like 2-3k. Now this is what you call lag. Feels like vtec area that it's coming in at. I'm using a wrx turbo and 2.25 piping for exhaust(yeah I know...)dsm side mount with 1.75 to 2" piping for charge piping. What gives?

Any idea of the specs of that turbo? Like what size AR it is and what size turbone your running?

tha damn charge pipes are too big, go with what is off of the turbo, and put the wastegate hose right before the throttle body.

2 inches is not too big for charge piping...now are you saying you have no boost at all until 3.5k?

errr, I think you want the wastegate line somewhere AFTER the throttlebody... ie the intake manifold, fuel pressure regulator line. etc.

No its not the same. You NEED to take the vaccum source from the manifold, its a stronger vaccum source.

I took my wastegate boost right off the partial charge pipe that's on the turbo.

Yeah some wastegates are setup for this and thats perfectly fine, however the best vaccum source is the manifold. IMO
