Default boost dies at 4000 RPM

Dear all
am new in here but not new to turbos i have a problem in my BMW E34 535 TI
i installed the turbo and it is working fine and the external waste gate is tuned on 10 PSI but the problem is when the car reaches 3800 RPM on any gear the boost dies can u help
is it a leak from the air side or the exhust side if u have any idea please help

Are you using the Standard Airflow meter?

Does it feel like Somthing is Broken or like timing is be pulled back/Limp Mode/ Not making anymore power etc..

what kind of turbo is that? MAybe the compressor, the turbine or the whole turbo is choking your engine past a certain flow?

We can't tell you squat based upon what you just said, it could mean so many things. Does your engine rev past 4k rpm? could be your ecu is seeing too much boost and going into limp mode. :1

Also, check for boost leaks...

Dies like no boost or decreases a few PSI?
