boost controller question??
 

when hooking it up i know its spose to be hook at the top of the wastegate. but do you just leave the side hook up open or do you hook that up to a vaccume source??? i have a greddy boost controller but it goes from the top of the wastegate to (com) then out on (nc) correct? thanx

Read the instructions that came with your boost controller. Electronic controllers will use both the top and side/bottom, or just the bottom - never the top alone. A MBC will use just the bottom. A wastegate works by letting boost push the valve up - using the top hole will use boost to keep the valve shut - hard.

got another question. will it only allow the boost go up to what the spring is with the controller??

other way around, it will never be lower than the spring psi
