Boost controller on but less boost
 

my wastegate on my T3 maxed out at 5PSI on my boost guage, so i added a Turbo XS boost controller and turned it up a little, i took it for a drive and it was only getting like 3PSI, whats up with that i though that the boost controller could only make it go up not down??

you put it on the wrong line i bet and you are just bleeding boost

its just hooked up to the wastegate and then to the vacuum line on the turbo

double check that...maybe you blew a charge pipe a little off

Thats pretty much impossible for a MBC to make it go lower, I would also suggest rechecking all the IC piping, try taking the MBC off again and seeing if it goes back to 5psi.

is the controller hooked up backwards
ie line to wastegate into input of controller.. i think thats the only way it would do that
