boost controller

some one correct me if im wrong....dont the DSM have an eletronic BC that ups their turbo to 11psi....
is there a way to rip it ouot and make it work on a HMT set up? so it would give you the option to run 11 or 8ps1?

Re: boost controller

not that i know of... I believe they just use a stock Internal Wastegate with a preset diaphram. alot of guy's including myself have made HDMBC's(Home Depot Manuel Boost Controllers) and they work great....

actually they do have a boost control solenoid. the internal wastegates on the DSM's are set at 7-8psi, the BCS ups the boost if conditions are right IE: no knock detected, temp ok, etc... i doubt it will do any good on anything else since its computer controlled.
