Which Boost Controller?
I just recently purchased an 87 RX7 TII and would like a boost controller. I was just going to go with an MBC because of the price for now. Which controller would be good to go with. Are any of those ebay ones worth it. What are you guys using.

Re: Which Boost Controller?
im using a turboxs mbc, I hit full boost at 9-10psi than it drops down 1-2 psi and stays steady. I believe if you went with an expensive electric one you wouldnt have this problem.

Re: Which Boost Controller?
lots of people are happy with the simply $10 hardware store option.

Re: Which Boost Controller?
Ok I will prob go that route then. An electronic just doesnt seem worth it to me.

Re: Which Boost Controller?
My friend is using a Turbosmart manual boost controller with his Volvo 240. There is easily a 400rpm difference in spool time, as well as holding a steady 16psi on his T3. It's on my shopping list.

Re: Which Boost Controller?
Joe P controllers have been around a long time and have a solid reputation. That's what I'd recommend. They aren't shiney and pretty, they just do their job and do it well.
