Default Boost Controller.?

Hi. I am using a RHB5 Turbo on a 94 civic d15b7. I am just about done with the setup but I am worried about the psi. I want to run 5-6 psi. The stock internal wastegate is "Supposed" to be set at 8 psi. I rotated the housing and remounted the wastegate in 2 diffrent bolt holes. I am worried that it isnt going to work right and be to much and blow the motor. My question is. Even if it is set for 8psi can I use a manual boost controler to make it 6psi?
If not should I just buy a external wastegate I have a spot for one on my manifold. Thanks in advance for the info.

run the 8psi, it'll make you a man. it doesn't matter if you've relocated the wastegate, aslong as the wg flapper is closed when the wg is mounted.

I have 450s and a VAFC. I want to run the 8 but what if something is wrong with the wastegate and it is stuck or is set for like 10-13 psi? I am just alittle worried.

just run it as is at 8psi...trust me, you should be fine with the fuel management ur using. run it really quick to see what psi you hit. if it spikes, then you know you got a problem....but dont jump to conclusions. try it out first. let off as soon as you notice it spike to anything over 8-9 psi. or if you got ***** dont let off

just watch your boost gauge til you know what psi the wastegate opens at. then you're free to go full throttle.
it won't break anything if you accidently hit 18psi for 2 seconds, it's happened to me when a wastegate vacuume hose came loose.

Will I be able to see what psi I hit without moving the car. Like reveing it up in my driveway?

no sir! you have to be driving to put load on the turbo, then you'll hit boost.

One last question. Where should I hook the vacume line on the wastegate? To the intake manifold?
