boost controller
 
i saw a topic here a few weeks ago what parts to buy to make a manual boost controller. i cant seem to find it. its has a part number of a pneumatic valve or something? could someone help or know where the the topic went.

to make a manual boost controller you need a brass tee fitting with all three threaded inlets. and you need 2 brass inlets to screw into the tee to attach the wastegate line to. you also need a nut and a fine threaded bolt to fit inside the nut and the bolt must be able to screw into the inlet of the brass tee.

then you take your ball bearing and tee, and you place the ball bearing inside the tee where the pressure inlet is into the brass fitting, and you take your spring and you place it behind the ball bearing so that it applies pressure to the ball bearing enough so that it doesn't rattle around when you shake it.
and once you have both the inlet and outlet screwed in, and the bolt screwed in to secure the spring and ball bearing you can proceed to tighten the bolt as needed in order to put more pressure on the ball bearing, therefore making it harder for the boost pressure running through the line to push the ball bearing against the spring causing an airway to the wastegate.

ill attempt to draw a simple diagram showing which piece screws where using text/symbols cause i dont wanna draw one, its too late.

this is the brass tee and arrows show inlets/outlets:

now the inlet fitting will screw into either the left or right of the tee (of the left or right arrow of my diagram) and the oulet will screw into the arrow pointing up in my diagram. now there is only one open port and this is the one you screw in your bolt and nut. the nut is used to tighten the bolt in place so that it will hold a cirtain setting..

so it should look similar to this diagram:

outlet
----> inlet (ball bearing) [spring] [[[[nut][[[[[ bolt]]

very very good method. ;D but, i want to try the pneunatic valve also. tnx ill let u know the results with the ball bearing tee. ;D

i found some pneumatic valves i just dont know whats the part number.
