The first time i put the turbo on, do I have to drive the car to get boost?? I tried reving the engine but it didnt give me much. on idle the boost guage reads -15?

you have vacuum in non boost conditions. the car has to suck air/fuel in rather than having it forced in. i supposed if you floored it in neutral you could get some boost. but it has to have time to build and i think you would have your engine wrapped out before it wcould build enough. i dunno though.

Ever car I have ever done a turbo setup on, you will need to have the engine under a load to get some boost.

But oddly enough, my friends dsm spools from just reving the fucker in netural, which is dangerous.

ohh ball bearings....

mine will to but that is with a high flow CFm air compressor :) haha
