Bolting the turbo on and ran in to another prob

98 prelude H double duce
Well guys i got my oil pan off.

Now bolting the manifold to the turbo is a problem. The turbo is hitting my motor mount, I have the mannifold from this kit
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...K%3AMEBWN%3AIT

DONT WORRY THIS IS NOT AN SS AUTOCHROME MANNIFOLD!

The mannifold is causeing the turbo to hit my front motor mount. What should i do?

a .48 turbine with a stage 1 wheel on a H22? Not really going for big power huh? Which part of the turbo is hitting the motor mount? A pic of the problem would help

You have to cut out the part of the motor mount that's in the way.

Try using an air saw.

I had the same problem with turboing my h23, I had to notch out the front motor mount a little so the cold side of the turbo would clear. I also had to take some of the plastic of the radiator fan so it would fit. than I had to move the one fan on the outside of the radiator support so the the turbo would fit. talk a bout a pain in the ass. good luck with your install.
