Bolt on turbo manifold

Does anyone know what the torque specs are when bolting on a turbo manifold to a d16y8. Do I need a new gasket or can I use the old one.

I am guessing around 20ft lbs or so. just so its "tight" I wouldnt worry about torqing it to spec at all.

You dont really need to replace the gasket either, but you can if you want.

Thanks you guys are homemadeturbo.com are the best! You are the ones that inspired me to do a custom kit and feel confortable doing it myself, instead of buying a greddy and getting a mechanic to install $$$$$$$$$$$$. If there is anything I can do to help your website please email me. I am going to take tons of pictures of the installation of my kit so maybe you can use them on your website. Thanks for the help!

I do have another question that I'm confused on. I bought denso iridium plugs for my civic. Now do I have to buy cold plugs for my turbo setup or will the iridium burn hot enough.

Honestly I have always used factory NGK plugs on ALL of our turbo setups. Including my race car. Your plugs should be just fine..

Some people recommend running a colder plug, but with my experiences I have never had a problem.

What about plug gaps though? I have the NGK plugs on my civic, but I have heard that they need to be gapped shorter. What do you think?
