BMW engine coffee table I made
I know this technically doesn't have much to do with FI but this is the only section I post in.
I found this rare BMW block (z3/e39 2.8L) which is all aluminum unlike most obtainable bmw blocks (mostly cast iron). I decided to make a table out of it since it had an ever so slight warp to it. I could have sleeved it but the truth is teh aluminum blocks are light but not very popular for high hp. Anyway, after blasting and powder coating, here is the starts of my BMW engine coffee table. Gonna stick the crank in and flip the rods/pistons upside down to be the feet. Got the glass cut its 3/8" tempered and is nice size. http://blowneuroz.com/525/Coffee%20Table/m52table1.jpg http://blowneuroz.com/525/Coffee%20Table/m52table2.jpg |
