BmC RACING official update

-=BmC RACING=-
We here at BmC Racing have been hard at work on a new turbo setup ever since we blew our d16z6.... And now at last it shall be done within a matter of 7-14 days. We have bought everything and am now just waiting for the crap to arive. Our setup will be a

engine : 1998 Acura Integra GSR DOHC VTEC
turbo : Garret T3/T4 .70 intake ar .48 exhaust ar
fuel : 4 450cc injectors along with uberdata/uberteg
intercooler : mazda mx6 / ford probe intercooler (temporary till we can afford air/water)
bov : dsm bov crushed
intake piping : 2.5" mandrel bent piping
downpipe : 3" mandrel bent piping

we will be boosting 8-10 psi for about 2-4 months wich we will then upgrade pistons, rods, and possibly sleaves.

our expected ground horse power is 275 at 8psi after dyno tuning. (i also got skunk2 intake mani)

bmc racing is now offer CNC PORTING AND POLISHING!! on your head, intake manifold, and turbo manifold/header

we can also custom build bottom ends, or top ends, at the buyers expensive. We will have more pictures of our turbo setup and p&p jobs soon.

Re:BmC RACING official update

BMC, do you have a flow bench? If not how are you testing your results.

If so I'd like to see before/after flow results from various Honda heads at lifts of say 0.100 through 0.700. Maybe I havnt looked hard enough, but I have NEVER seen a definitive resource of stock honda CFM ratings in one place!!! If anyone knows of a listing please let me know.

A lot of people do porting... and never post the data!!!

no we do not yet have a flow bench but we are supposed to be getting one soon. not sure how soon yet because of financial issues but we will have one in less than 6 months i gaurantee that. the way we port and polish now is Sam runs out the manifold/head/whatever on the cnc mill first and then I, james goes over it by hand to polish it out and make sure that it is perfectly port matchd and such. as of now i should not say we fully port and polish because all we do right now is a port match to gasket ALTHOUGH we go ahead and finish off the runners, etc with the same deminsions all the way thru. as compared to some people who only port match to 1 in into the material... we do the hole thing. i am almost finishd with another gsr intake manifold and will post pictures asap.
