This is their new site. And I know the guys personally. Their plates are sent out fast. It's the manifolds that take time to ship because it is one guy making the manifolds. He is still in school and they are not pre-made. So if anyone here has made a manifold they know it takes time to make a quality product. But he still gets the manifolds out pretty quick, especially for the quality.

But the adaptor plates should be no problem to ship out quick. Everytime I visit them they usually have a bunch pre-made.

I'll sell you mine for BMC for $20 shipped... I bought it about a year ago. I had an SVO T3 that I was gonna use, but I reallized it was too big for my HP goals. I sold the turbo for $200 and I've had the plate sitting every since... I bought my WRX adaptor plate at the same time as the T3 one b/c I wasn't sure if the WRX turbo could really live upto my needs, but it did, and now it was a 50-trim com. wheel, so I'll never use the T3 plate.

That's a hella nice adapter plate right there! I assume I can order one from your site?

Oh that reminds me...when using an adapter plate to mate up a turbo should I use gasket on both sides of the plate?

HMT-Admin 11-08-2004 10:30 AM

Re:BMC racing adapter plates

Yes, use a gasket on both sides of the adapter plate. The plate maybe true, but the turbo/manifold may not be. I have always ran gaskets with every adapter plate I have built.

Re:BMC racing adapter plates

My WRX turbo setup doesn't use gaskets, and it doesn't show any signs of leaking, but its deffinately a good idea.

I spent $12 on hardware, so $40 shipped with hardware from BMC is a sweet deal.
