blue wire Safc hack
I heard somewhere that you can hook up the blue wire from the apexi safc to your o2 sensor and it will work under the air flow% on the converter... is this true and do youjust spice the o2 wire or what?

But I thought it only gives a voltage reading on the sensor check screen, I'm going to do it this weekend and will let you know. |
Re:blue wire Safc hack
voltage reading is better than the blinking red, yellow and green LEDs.

But I think Apexi is just trying not to undercut their Auto timer sales by downplaying the AFCs ability to read the O2 voltage ;D |
Re:blue wire Safc hack
i just wish you could use the blue wire mod for the VAFC also, but the wire is used to help control vtec.
oh well...good luck. PauL |
Re:blue wire Safc hack
so what voltage readings would you be looking for??
|
Re:blue wire Safc hack
the blue wire is for air flow.... so you would think the reading would show up there.... i guess ill just have to splice and try it.....

Re:blue wire Safc hack
ok well i spliced intot the green wire commin out of the 02 sensor and pluged it with the blue wire comin out the safc and i didnt get ---- out the air flow and i couldnt find it on the voltage reading so if anyone gets it to work let me know

Re:blue wire Safc hack
It's in sensor check, under the etc menu. The #2 reading is the O2 voltage.
.89+ is rich. You wanna tune to around .90 -> .92 on a turbo Honda. I was running around .89 -> .91. Like .95 is too rich. -TheDropShop |
