Wrong.

GT series are Garrett compressor and turbine wheels produced sometime distinctly after the stoneage. You can get Garrett journal bearing GT35E, as opposed to GT35R, for a $700 savings and 400 rpm more spool time. Whoopty.

The now-infamous car-stuck-in-my-basement has T67/T4, which is a larger compressor than either of the GT40s. Trav-*** didn't install the seat in the TiAL wastegate, and it was building boost at 4000 rpms. It's all in manifold design, and turbine wheel/housing AR. This is supposed to be ultimate streetcar build, and Ken @ Cheap/Phoenix turbo promised Trav-*** 15 psi in first gear... should rape ape if he'd ever come over and provide parts for his car.
