Blown turbo?
I pulled of my turbo because my manifold cracked. And it had burnt oil marks on the exhaust so i pulled the housing off and theres oil in it, but its not that bad it's only around the inside rim of like the heat sheild cup. I just had the turbo rebuillt and i dont want to bend the fins again if its blown

Re: Blown turbo?
Next step is to check the oil return.
it needs to be ½", tapped above the oil level in the pan and straight down.
If it still leaks with that, have the compression checked on the engine to make sure the pan is not pressurized and then if it still leaks, we can try turbonetic's Stagger gap piston ring.

Re: Blown turbo?
The compression was 140 in cylenders 1&2 and 150 in 3&4. The oil drain is 5/8 to a half inch npt. The feed has an oil restricter because i think it is -4 an. and with the hose disconnected from the pan no oil leaks out at all so its above the oil level. Also how would i check to see if my pan is being pressurized.
