Block Notching

I was considering buying tuner toys rods for my b18a since they are a pretty good bang for the buck but ive read a few places that you will need to notch the block. Does someone know what this process entails?

You grind away at the bottoms of the bores to clear the rod's big end. I'm pretty sure it's for D-series only, which have very small bores, not for LS.

yep. only d-series needs notching with h beam rods. b-series dont need the notching.
d-series also needs the girdle notched depending on the arp bolts
