Best way to seal threaded connections?
All of the connections on my oil feed and return are threaded. I know plumbers use a couple of layers of teflon tape...but is there something else I can put on with the tape to ensure a oil tight seal(like a compound out of a tube)?? Or is there something else I can use that will seal better?
Thanks |

Re:Best way to seal threaded connections?
you really dont need anything since they are all tapered fittings, but I sometimes throw a little dab of silicone on the threads.

you dont really need anything on them, they are like compression fittings, once tight they are sealed.
