Holy ----, 7.5:1 compression? It'll be a dog out of boost.

I dont ask about PISTON i ask about turbo :7

Re: Best turbo????
With that low of compression you will probly spool up later than that. But I'm not sure because a ball bearing turbo will spool up quicker.
It wll be great top end, but REALLY slow when not in boost. GREAT track car, not a very good street car. In my opinoin. What are you using for fuel management? |

Haha...king dick...i like that. +1 on displacement. As the old v8 adage goes...there's no replacement for displacement ;)

Well, the more I think about it, the more it makes sense. You really aren't moving that much less unless you went from like 12:1 to 7:1. Not really a whole lot of differece in them piston tops. Never mind me I'm just thinking and typing out loud. I'll go away now. |
Re: Best turbo????
No...I would think how much air you move is based on the cylinder size, the compression level is just how much it's squeezed :P Possibly the velocity will be higher on the more compressed air, but compression wouldn't change how much air can fit into the cyl, but that's just some crap I'm guessing.
