best compression for boost....
Okay here are the goals:
300WHP on stock D series sleeves running scat h rods either cp or je pistons 75.0mm stock bore I'd like to make 300WHP on 16-20lb of boost and my options for the compression are all forged pistons 8.0:1 (these would be d16a6 9.1:1 comp pistons in the ZC) 9.1:1 (9.1 comp ZC/a1 pistons) 9.5:1 (11:1 d16a6 pistons) tuning will be w/ turboedit and I'm going to be running 92-93 octane w/ a wideband thta will probably stay in the car most of the time. (unless im tuning another car) which comp would be best for the goals and the rest of the setup? |
Re:best compression for boost....

Re: best compression for boost....
I've heard around 10-12psi on a DSM t25 is fairly decent. CFM rating i dont know off hand, Anything over that is pushin it.
