Since you are concerned about clearance, do it the right way. Do not use the same color on all rods. Someone on this forum used all green and had problems. Do a search.
he's using eagles rods. so that ---- sint going to matter. just use plastigauge

It is going to matter..for example eagle rod's are all number 3 rod's...if your crank has like from cilinder 1 to 4..A,C,D,B every rod needs a different bearing color. if the color falls into yellow or brown..it ain't that bad to use ACL's...i just rebuild a block from parts form 4 other engines got lucky that all four rod's came out green bearings...rod's were 2C, 3B, 2C, 3B...my mains on the other hand 3 of them were green 1 was brown..well not to far of from green and one was pink...well I just use al STD bearings on it to...yah the pink well it will have more clearance...most builder want a bit more clearance for more oil in higher hp situations...at leas it's a more clearance then too little, cause if it was to tight you would have more problems.
My car was running strong..13 psi on a T3/T4 but I think a brok a ringland...boosted 20 psi accidantilly and went lean 13:1 AF..it ripped good though...made a few runs on it. I used PG6B rod and pistons in a D16A9(blacktop ZC) block lowers the compression en the rod's are thicker and IMO should be stronger then PM7 rod's

when I ruined my main bearing by running a lightweight crank pulley...........

I swapped the bearings out without pulling the motor. I went all green and polished the main journals with 900 grit emery cloth from underneath.

I sent over 300 lbs of nitrous thru the motor afterwards, the mains still look fine after 50k and juiced.....last passes were at 100 shot........

Maybe I'm lucky, maybe I'm good.......................

Maybe I'm good and LUCKY!

Maybe you're just a hardcore ----------er?

If Mista Bone was a gunslinger, there'd be a whole lot of dead copycats in the greater Cincy area...

high compression long rod non VTEC D15

Using all stock internals, just mix-n-match to fit
