bars? any not where you drink!
The only boost gauge I have right now is a Blitz turbo timer with built-in boost gauge but reads in bars. What is the conversion for PSI to bars? Isn't it like 14.7psi(don't ask where the .7 came from but it just keeps on popping up in my head :P) for 1bar? I just ask cause I won't be hitting that high anytime soon so tomorrow when I'm finish with my install I can tell how much boost I'm pushing? Finally whats the IHI RHB5 VF(older sube's) WG set at? Isn't it like 7psi?
Finally got everything bolted up and finish and I'm hitting right around .5 bars with a open downpipe and a greddy bluebox for now but notice once I hit about 7k it bogs or it maybe just the rev limiter kicking in or the BB bot kicking out enough fuel. It's not bad considering I'm using a CX tranny so it sucks after 2nd gear with this long *** geared tranny. But it's finally boosted so maybe I need to change my user name now! :P

Wrong, 14.5 is wrong, 14.7 is wrong. There really is no proper conversion. It depends on the area you live. Ocean level is going to be more then in the mountains, weather, and so on. Not to through a monkey wrench into it.
But to finish it off, when doing convesions for pneumatics 14.7 is the normal conversion used throughout the industry and in the textbooks!
