Default Bad to boost too early?

Well me and turbohf talked a little about this. Is it bad for your car to hit full boost early? Like my car for instance. It's a f22a with a tdo4 on it. I'm hauling *** at 2000 and have full boost by 3000. So is this bad for the engine? To much stress at low RPM?

there is no reason it should be bad for the engine, as the same boost at higher rpm will put more stress than that same amount of boost at a lower rpm.

look at ghey superchargers, you have full boost as soon as you apply throttle.

nope, there is nothing wrong with hitting full boost at low RPMs. That is the goal of many people. Things like smaller turbines, ball bearings, and ceramic wheels help you reach full boost sooner.

yeah man if we could design a turbo that would spool at 1krpm and not fall off till 8000 rpm. WOW that wwould be a sweet turbo!

fast spooling just means u will get shitty gas mileage.

I think it is areocharger that has the vatn turbo. it has almost no lag, and flows like a larger turbine.

Just make sure you have fuel settings that are ready for boost that low and you will be fine..

turbohf's car was spooling incredibly fast and was kinda fucked up because his map wasnt setup right.
